The route starts in the heart of the city urban centre (Plaza de l’Església). Taking the street on the left (calle del Pont) leading us to the Sineu Royal Road and towards the Son Dagueta road, until turning left onto the Manacor Royal Road taking us directly to the Pou de Sa Carrera well, which is very easy to spot next to the road. A hundred metres ahead we leave this road to continue to the right along the Son Oms road, a dirt road with a semi-mountainous landscape by which we skirt around the Son Oms property until the fork in the road.

If we follow the route as traced on the map and to the left, at approximately 300 metres we will have to turn back towards the right to take a pedestrian path that will take us nearer to the Son Jordi road. We are, therefore, in a very hilly area and of great environmental value.

Pou Bo

Following an unpaved stretch of the Son Jordi road, right in the middle of nature, reaching at a junction to the left, so as to reach the Pou Bó or Son Jordi wells. If continuing on the right we will pass in front of the Son Jordi water wheel (located on private grounds) but can be seen from the road. This stretch overlaps with Route 2 and we can return to Porreres along the road during the entire route, or alternatively, get back on the Manacor Royal Road and the Sa Serra road to reach the centre again.

Furthermore, this route can be done by bicycle, shortening the route. To that end, once past the Son Oms property, at the fork in the road, we turn right along a dirt road (Son Mainou road) to the Son Jordi road and from here travelling on the route in the opposite direction until reaching Pou Bó. Then turning back to take the route by its pedestrian path.
